September is
HUNGER ACTION MONTH
There are lots of ways to fight hunger in your community. Here are three specific ways to partner with COM in September.
Wear Orange
The color for Hunger Action Month is organge, and we want to see you decked out in it! In addition to posting your orange selfies on social media, we are also encouraging all our volunteers to wear orange when they volunteer at COM this month. Each day you wear orange, you will have your name entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of the month.

COM is holding an online silent auction from Sept 27 through Oct 5 (Polk County's Got Talent). We have tons of great items and baskets to bid on. Check them all out at HERE on the Polk County's Got Talent Page. Bidding closes at 7 pm on Oct 5 and winners will be announced at the talent show (you do NOT need to be present to win).
Grab a ticket during Hunger Action Month to watch local talent compete in a live talent show competition. A great evening of entertainment, this event is COM's major annual fundraiser to fully fund the food pantry. Purchase your ticket during Hunger Action Month to do your part in supporting the pantry.
