September is
HUNGER ACTION MONTH
There are lots of ways to fight hunger in your community. Here are three specific ways to partner with COM in September.
Hunger Action Day: Sept 14
Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023 is Hunger Action Day, or as we like to also call it, "Go Orange Day." This is a day to wear orange to show your support for COM and the fight against hunger. Hunger Action Day is also a great day to volunteer in the food pantry.

COM is holding an online silent auction from Sept 14 (Hunger Action Day) through Sept 23 (Polk County's Got Talent). We have tons of great items and baskets to bid on. Check them all out at HERE on the Polk County's Got Talent Page. Bidding closes at 8 pm on Sept 23 and winners will be announced at the talent show (you do NOT need to be present to win).
Grab a ticket to watch local talent compete in a live talent show competition. A great evening of entertainment, this event caps off Hunger Action Month as COM's major annual fundraiser.
