THE FOOD PANTRY

The Pantry is a member of Ozarks Food Harvest. Assistance is provided in the form of USDA/TEFAP foods, Senior Boxes, and donated food items. Donated food items come from local businesses and community members.  We operate an in-person, shopper's-choice food pantry.

Shoppers may come through the pantry for dry goods and USDA commodities once a month. You can also receive bonus cards for extra pantry visits by attending life skills classes or achieving goals in Pathways case management.

In addition to the Bolivar Pantry, COM also takes food to Humansville for distribution on the second Tuesday morning of every month. Call 417-326-2769 for more info.

To apply for food pantry assistance, please present the following items at time of arrival:

  • Social security cards for everyone in the household

  • Photo ID for everyone over the age of 18

  • Proof of address (utility bill or mail from last 30 days)

  • Proof of income (paystub, Social Security letter, letter from SNAP, etc.)

**Please bring a Photo ID with you EVERY time you visit the pantry.**

Shoppers must be under 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) to receive USDA TEFAP commodities and under 200% FPL for non-USDA foods.

COM utilizes the Charity Tracker online system for food and other assistance to ensure each shopper receives the proper help.
