COM is launching a new social enterprise, COMfort Upcycling, that brings together sustainability, creativity, and community care. Through this project, old T-shirts are turned into yarn, and sheets and other usable fabrics are transformed into quilting squares and handmade goods.
COMfort Upcycling goes beyond recycling materials. Seniors on Social Security and individuals living with disabilities are invited to participate, using their skills and time to create something meaningful in exhange for help with real needs like rent or utility bills.
