Summer Lunches
In partnership with the Polk County Health Center, COM has provided free lunches during July and August to Bolivar kids while school is out. While summer is an enjoyable time for some, for many parents it is a stressful time as they face increased food costs for lunch while school is not in session. This is where the summer lunch program steps in.
In Bolivar, we serve free lunches to kids 1-18 at the Cribbs Family Park (splash pads) on M-F 11:30 am-12:30 pm. The Bolivar program runs from July 8-Aug 9.
URGENT NEED
This year, we are expanding our program into two rural sites: Humansville and Pleasant Hope. Although our Bolivar site is covered by grant funding, we currently do not have grant funding for these rural sites. However, you can help!
For just $50, you can supply lunches for one day for one of these two sites! You can easily donate using the button below or by mailing a check to PO Box 181, Bolivar, MO 65613.
